Itinerary
Tour Description
The Cape Winelands are one of South Africa’s most celebrated landscapes, with rolling vineyards, Cape Dutch architecture and world-class wine, all within an hour of Cape Town. This private Winelands day tour goes beyond the standard tasting room circuit to explore the art, architecture and stories behind some of the region’s most exceptional estates.
Your day begins in Stellenbosch, where you’ll walk the historic town streets and visit the Rupert Museum, one of South Africa’s finest private art collections. From there, the route moves through Franschhoek to Noble Hill Wine Estate for a private vineyard safari and tasting, and to La Motte for its gallery, architecture and celebrated lunch.
Every detail is arranged in advance, including wine tastings, entrance fees, private transport and restaurant reservations. Your hosts know these estates and the people who run them, which means you get access and insight that most visitors simply don’t.
This tour is ideal for wine enthusiasts, design lovers and anyone wanting a beautifully curated day out of Cape Town that goes deeper than the surface. Fully private, maximum 5 guests.
